[The Old Testament Book of] ..Joshua is the story of how God, to whom the whole world belongs, at one stage in the history of redemption reconquered a portion of the earth from the powers of this world that had claimed it for themselves, defending their claims by force of arms and reliance on their false gods.. It was also a warning to the nations that the irresistible advance of the kingdom of God would ultimately disinherit all those who opposed it, giving place in the earth only to those who acknowledge and serve the Lord. At once an act of redemption and of judgement, it gave notice of the outcome of history and anticipated the eschatological destiny of mankind and the creation..

War is a terrible curse that the human race brings on itself as it seeks to possess the earth by its own unrighteous ways. But it pales before the curse that awaits all those who do not heed God's testimony to himself or his warnings - those who oppose the rule of God and reject his offer of grace. The God of the second Joshua, Jesus, is the God of the first Joshua also. Although now for a time he reaches out to the whole world with the gospel, and commissions his people urgently to carry out his offer of peace to all nations, the sword of his judgement waits in the wings - and his second Joshua will wield it.

I tell you, it's a crowded field Conservative media complaining about the latest Marxist political legal social etc atrocity. Of course such are the times there is endless material to work with, much grist for the mill. But that's as far as they go. To whom exactly are they complaining, appealing. Followers, subscribers, a rhetorical Complaints Department, a feckless Court?

For want of more thoughtful content, and in monetised obedience to their paymasters, employer and/or advertiser, they 'colour within the lines.' Steve Bannon's WarRoom podcast a case in point, many of us listen to it, their workrate is phenomenal and heavily US-centric, the panel and guests amongst the leaders in this field, often intelligent well-informed thoughtful and beneficial, yet it too is endlessly repetitive, highly selective, inundated with adverts, prone to hyperbole, and though I don't use the descriptor as Marxist nomenclature, constantly reactionary. Their intro mentions, surely in jest, the pandemic as a demon, yet secular commentators deride the supernatural as happy talk. Their intro cautions against lack of preparation, yet here we are eight months later and despite his ardent protestations Biden's in and Steve's flogging pillows - really?

Are they more afraid of financial or legal consequences, or is it really largely entertainment, opining from the commentary box. To tell you the truth I haven't quite got them worked out, but as one who likes my truth mainline and undiluted I sense a form of double agency, quietly playing the Maga base against Davos globalists. Not many actual deplorables make it to the mike, many of those who do are high fliers and doing alright, no harm there, may not be one of the people but do claim to speak for the people jazz, well okay, if you follow through with it.

Those who follow this program might think me a tad petty, perhaps you're right, I'm too critical and adversarial by nature I guess. So here's what I'm getting at. These guys are at the forefront, along with all the others who make sterling contributions at times, yet in my research not one has outlined an effective strategy to effectively combat the civilisational Marxist onslaught.

Their reactions, their response, their subsequent tactics appear disjointed unco-ordinated haphazard, barely anunciated because at heart they know the legal challenges remain a roll of the dice in the current climate. What a joke the last two SCOTUS Trump appointees, such splintered reeds.

The conservative or classical liberal opposition to the unaparty governing Marxists is divided between conservative evangelical or other Christian, and firmly secular or humanist. There is a spiritual divide in opposition, yet certainly in the States much of the Maga Republicans seem of good Christian stock, a solid wedge of the base hold firm to biblical values, but in Spirit this is not being represented by the conservative commentariat - they don't know how to handle the Truth, and doesn't it show.

I describe it this way, it's like the non-Christian conservatives want all the fruits of past society without acknowledging the Creator who provides sunlight rain soil and the capacity for workers to tend the garden, they want to load up a heavy trailer with goodies and freight with no prime mover attached, they are like children who want toys yet see no connection to the hard work in an adult world that provides the funds. They want a world without God, oxymoron 101.

It is a paradox which I find so frustrating, that many of our compadres in opposition are bang on when it comes to identifying flashpoints in the culture war, yet are not brothers or sisters in Christ. We share a broadly similar secular worldview, yet in reality are poles apart from the overlaid biblical worldview Christians hold to as revealed in Scripture, namely the grand game being played out which is salvation history, how flesh and blood is not driving this, and hence we in opposition are divided in our forward analysis, and that's if you can get any, good luck with that.

There is no strategy in opposition because there is fundamental confusion and disagreement as to the key drivers. The conservative nationalist common sense pub-test free speech what did I miss out crowd lack unifying leadership. There is almost a complete absence of Christian thinkers contributing in this field, and they should be leading the opposition, with or without the acquiescence of alt-media. We don't need permission, we've already had the go ahead upstairs, get on with it, all contributions gratefully received.

In summary, or to draw together the disparate threads, our Judeo-Christian civilisation is going down the tubes. The Opposition realise this and are united in defiance of what our insect overlords would have us live under, our unresponsive Covid authoritarian regimes progressively transitioning from representative democracy to whatever the hell hybrid neo-Marxist Communist dictatorship tech state emerges out of the primordial slime, it won't be a society shielded by God's compassion, and not habitable by anyone with a conscience. What was happening incrementally took a Great Leap Forward with the Wuhan Flu, and it is abundantly clear the Opposition are powerless to halt the Statist grip.

Our strategy should be to unite all Christian thinkers and doers who share the same biblical worldview secular analysis overlay, into a spiritual force expressed politically, in public meetings, openly online, learning to defend ourselves from Scripture as Jesus was tested in the wilderness, drawing upon apologetics to address the wider philosophical field, bearing grounded witness and frank testimony from our lived experience both in this world and in the Kingdom to come.

Some of our fellow members in Opposition who are atheist and agnostic we will win to Christ, add to this not a few passionate kids currently dabbling in the political idolatry of the Left. Remember the leading persecutor of the early Church, Saul who would become Apostle Paul, was present at the first murder of a Christian, the martyr Stephen. Paul ends up writing half the bloomin New Testament. Message, never underestimate how the Lord will reveal himself to those who are confused and hate him. He takes the initiative and chooses his own, he convinces them of his love, they get saved and start serving him in newness of love with a renewed mind. This has been happening for millenia, it's happening today the world over, though it's looking a little messy he is in control, no-one else, Him. Believe. Live. Act upon it. An open door has been placed before you, it is indeed a portal. There is no need for satellites pointing straight up straining for signs of life in the universe, you have one right here.
